Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior
Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, to rescue me from sin and death. I ask your forgiveness and I give myself to you now.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
They Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.
Prayer to forgive your debtor(s)
Father, as Your Word says I should forgive my debtors as you forgive me, I choose to forgive ___________________.
I choose to remove myself from the judgement seat against them and ask that You would deal with them as is Your will. I choose to move forward with my life, no longer tethered. In the name of Jesus, I break the tether that has kept me tied to ____________________ and the ________________ against me. ____________________ will no longer hold dominion over me. I thank you that You forgive me and meet me where I am.
Prayer to forgive yourself
In the name of Jesus, I choose to forgive myself for any self condemnation and judgement. I break the tether that has kept me from trusting and loving myself the way You love me. I break the tether of self-deprecation, or perfectionism, of comparison, of insecurity, of __________________. I thank you that You love me unconditionally and I accept the love that you have bestowed on me. I am a new creation in You and I ask that You would make my heart new with this prayer.
Prayer for surrendering to God
Father, I am sorry that I put you a in a box. I am sorry that I tried to take control of ____________________/my life.
Father, I retire from being the God of my life and I surrender to you. I give (your current situation)___________________ to you.
I relinquish control, trusting that You, the God of the universe, will use all things for my good. That You know what is best for me and that You will make my paths straight. I will not step to the left or to the right. I will stay on the path that You set before me, trusting You and Your wisdom. Thank you, Father, that You are a loving and merciful Father. That You have good plans for my future. Thank you that even though we are like grass in the field that withers away, that You love us so much! Amen.
